Even though the Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden is a perfect backdrop for cultural events, festivals and celebrations, Japanese gardens are designed primarily for quiet contemplation and introspection. Our peaceful Sundays when there are no events planned offer visitors respite from our hectic world and you will find the serenity that has characterized Japanese gardens for centuries.

Important: Read our visitor guidelines for a peaceful and safe visit. They were created in response to LA County Health Department Reopening Protocol for outdoor museums and botanical gardens.
