Description
Visit the garden on weekdays for a quiet break from your busy schedule. Stroll around the ponds, sit quietly for awhile listening to the sounds of the waterfalls, feed the fish and have a picnic if you like. The Niko-an teahouse is always open for visitors to enjoy and there are poetry readings on Thursday afternoons with the gentle sounds of a flute.
Docent tours are available on Thursdays at 11:00 and 2:00 . Soon a docent tour will be available everyday.
Reservations for admission are recommended and may be made up to two weeks in advance here for $7.50 (children 12 and under are free.)
Members receive complimentary admission for two.
Reservations close at 5pm the day before.
The garden is wheelchair accessible. Sorry, no pets allowed.
The garden is its most beautiful in the rain and we are open rain or shine. We are unable to issue refunds.
The City of Pasadena prohibits street parking by our visitors on any of the surrounding streets in our residential neighborhood. Please follow the signs to park in one of the two driveways on the property. Being considerate of our neighbors makes it possible to offer the garden to the community.
