Join us at the Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden for a special evening with author Naomi Hirahara to celebrate the release of Hiroshima Boy, the final novel in her Mas Arai series. We will begin the evening with wine and appetizers and a chance to talk to the author. A graduate of Stanford University, Naomi has also written many books about gardening and Japanese American history and culture. (Learn more at naomihirahara.com.)
 
Ms. Hirahara will then give a talk about this final book in her award-winning series, followed by a book signing. L.A. gardener Mas Arai returns to Hiroshima to bring his best friend’s ashes to a relative on a small island, only to be embroiled in the mysterious death of a teenage boy who was about the same age Mas was when he survived the atomic bomb in 1945.
