Visitors will be treated to the soothing music of the harp with award-winning master harpist Carolyn Sykes. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Carolyn grew up playing the harp and toured Europe and Asia with the Melbourne Youth Orchestra. She came to the United States in the 1980s, continued performing locally and internationally and completed an MFA in Harp Performance at the California Institute of the Arts. She currently lives in Pasadena, performs widely solo and with symphony orchestras and records her music for CD and film. She teaches harp to 40 students and is on the board of directors for the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Harp Society. See Carolyn's website here.
- The garden is open to the public 10am to 4pm on the second and last Sundays of each month. Closed on the last Sunday of December.
- We often sell out on Open Day Last Sunday. Reservations are recommended
- Reservations online are $7.50 (children 12 and under are free)
- Admission is $10.00 when we are able to take walk-ins
- Members receive complimentary admission for two. Reservations recommended
- Stay as long as you like, we just need to know if you are arriving in the morning or afternoon
- Reservations close the day before at 5pm
- A docent tour is offered at 11am
- The garden is wheelchair accessible. Sorry, no pets allowed
- Open rain or shine. We are not able to issue refunds.
