Description

Open Hours are 10am to 4pm

Visit the garden on weekdays for a quiet break from your busy schedule. Bring a picnic if you like. Or just stroll around the ponds, sit quietly for awhile listening to the sounds of the waterfalls, feed the fish. The Niko-an teahouse is always open for visitors to enjoy and you may often see people meditating there.

Poets on Site
Thursdays, 1:30 to 3:30

You are invited to join, or simply stop by and listen to Poets on Site, a group led by poet, Kath Abela Wilson, which gathers every Thursday afternoon to find inspiration in the garden and read poems they have written there. They are usually accompanied by the gentle music of flutes from around the world, collected and played by Rick Wilson. It is a unique experience to stroll around the garden and then hear poetry drawn from a similar experience of the surroundings. Poets on Site meets from on the bluff overlooking the garden and teahouse. Participation and enjoyment is free with garden admission
