Join us in the gallery space of the house to learn about the living traditions of Japanese tea. Today's workshop is an opportunity for tea lovers to compare a flight of Green Teas. We will see, smell and taste three Japanese green teas, and will discuss how to brew them. Japanese green teas have a balance of sweetness and bitterness, with a predominant flavor of fresh greens. They are brewed at lower temperatures to bring out the complexity and richness. The format is informal, relaxed and fun (and indoors!)

The garden is open to the public 10am to 4pm every Sunday except the last Sunday of December
